Gotta craft ’em all! The goal of this side project is to craft the first 152 Pokémon (Including the glitch, Missingno.) out of duct tape. The Pokémon are listed in chronological order (or by National Pokédex number, not by the date I crafted them).
A wild Missingno. appears!!!
Send out jkdsa$hfjkldsajk#fhlasljfasjfd.
The candy is in reference to the infinite Rare Candy trick. A wild Bulbasaur appears!!!
Conducted a poll on my DeviantArt page to see what people wanted me to make next. Bulbasaur won. A wild Charmander appears!!!
This was a commission that a friend had requested.
A wild Metapod appears!!! A wild Butterfree appears!!!
Made this one pink to make it special like that one episode of Pokemon. A wild Beedrill appears!!!
Looks like he is posing like Ultraman.
It looks like I got real lazy with this one and drew the lines on the wings. This is a Pokemon I’d like to go back to and remake/touch-up. A wild Nidoran ♀ appears!!!
Had to wait for Duck to re-release a pastel blue color in order to finish this one. A wild Jigglypuff appears!!!
This is another one I’d like to go back to and revamp. I was trying to make 1 Pokemon craft a month, and this was the 2nd to last Pokemon and I really needed to focus on the last one. So, this one was rushed. It isn’t as spherical as I would have liked. A wild Zubat appears!!!
and appears and appears and appears.
Despite being annoying, I like Zubat. A wild Oddish appears!!!
Oddish is made entirely out of duct tape. A wild Gloom appears!
I should really go back and take a better picture of this one and also add the white spots while I’m at it.
Gloom is made entirely out of duct tape. A wild Vileplume appears!
Vileplume is made entirely out of duct tape.
Not sure why it took me so long to finish up this evolution set. Especially since I basically just made Oddish and Gloom back-to-back. Oh well, anticipation makes the heart grow fonder I guess. Just hanging out… Hanging out… Hanging out with the family, having ourselves a parttttttayyy. A wild Venonat appears!!!
This was a pain to put together. Making it look fuzzy turned out to be a nightmare A wild Venomoth appears!!!
Venonat evolved into Venomoth!
Figured I would complete this evolution tier with back to back uploads.
Also made a video featuring Venonat and Venomoth. Moth family, together at last. A wild Diglett appears!!!
This is one of my favorite Pokemon pictures to date. It just looks good to me. A wild Dugtrio appears!!!
I have wanted to make this ever since I made Diglett. Not sure why I didn’t start back then. Guess it was more of a hobby instead of a goal driven….hobby (OCD tendency). Another happy evolution family. A wild Psyduck appears!!!
Pyduck is another Pokémon creation made entirely out of duct tape. I originally wanted this creation to be as big as my Muk but I ultimately decided against it because I wanted to finish this project within a reasonable amount of time. A wild Bellsprout appears!!!
After making this guy, I started wondering how this Pokémon is even anatomically possible. Then I realize that I’m putting way too much thought into it and I should probably start working on other video game related projects. A wild Geodude appears!!!
This is the Pokemon that started it all. Geodude is my first Pokemon creation and it was modeled after a Burger King key chain. A wild Magnemite appears!!!
Wanted to use an actual bolt for the top, but I couldn’t find a good one. There are actual magnets in the magnets… if you could understand that. A wild Grimer appears!!!
I wanted to make this a little smaller than my Muk creation, but I went a little overboard. It’s technically bigger.
Grimer was made entirely out of duct tape. A wild Muk appears!!!
This Pokemon took me 2 years to finish.
This project was started back in May 2011 as a small ball of scrap duct tape. Over time it evolved into what you see here.
I normally save this bit of info for last but Muk here is made entirely out of duct tape. Entirely. This was the reason that it took so long to make. I wanted to use scrap pieces from other projects to create this behemoth. Around the end of 2012, I decided to finish the project using rolls of tape and broken projects. I need to go back and make Muk bigger. A wild Gastley appears!!!
I wanted to make a Gastley for a long time, but I could never decide how to make his “cloud.” I settled on what is seen here. I plan on recreating this in the future. A wild Haunter appears!!!
Haunter is the second Pokémon in my duct tape replica collection. This one was inspired by the first generation Haunter Pokémon card… and the fact that he’s one of my favorites.
The hands were orignally attached to Haunter via an incredibly malleable wire. They have since fallen off of him. I’m not sure why I thought the wire was going to be a good idea. A wild Gengar appears!!!
Was a commission for a friend. All three ghosts, scaring up the place. A wild Voltorb appears!!!
It used Self-destruct.
The wild Voltorb faints. A wild Electrode appears!!!
It also used Self-destruct.
I need to stop making these things. Rolling in from the Power Plant. A wild Exeggcute appears!!!
I’d like to come back to this project and update the tape color. I think they would look better with pastel pink. A wild Cubone appears!!! Wait… Inspired by another Burger King keychain. I wanted to make a life size Cubone skull and bone.
Fun Fact: Although the skull was modeled after the Burger King keychain that I own, the bone was modeled after a human tibia.
I’ll eventually make a the rest of Cubone. A wild Hitmonlee appears!!!
This is the first fighting type to join my list of duct tape Pokémon. It is also my favorite fighting type from Pokémon Red/Blue games…I mean Bruce Lee amirite? A wild Tangela appears!!!
This was a pain in the butt to put together. Tangling the vines started off easy enough but then I kept wanting to add more and more. It became a nightmare. A wild Goldeen appears!!!
The most useful Pokemon in Smash Brothers!
This is the first water type that I’ve made.
A wild Jynx appears!!!
The first Ice type to join this list.
This is the second largest Pokemon I’ve made in terms of height. Gengar would be the first. A wild Porygon appears!!!
I was going to make a Porygon way way way way back when I first started making duct tape Pokémon. Not really sure why I stopped. Regardless, it was good to work on, and finally finish, this project. A wild Kabuto appears!!!
Modeled this after another Burger King key chain. A wild Kabuto appears!!!
Modeled this after another Burger King key chain. A wild Dratini appears!!!
A wild Wobbuffet appears!!!
Made this for Mal’s birthday one year.
It’s the first Johto-region Pokemon I’ve made. A wild Wobbuffet appears!!!
Made this for Mal’s birthday one year.
It’s the first Johto-region Pokemon I’ve made. Always wanted to make a Duskull mask… so I did. Sides are a little uneven, and the all-white doesn’t look good to me. A wild Castform appears!!!
It isn’t changing though. Must be broken. A wild Drifloon appears!!!
I like the way this one turned out. Actually looks like it may float. A wild Rotom appears!!!
I was hoping to mark this Creation as my first legendary Pokémon…but there seems to be some debate over whether he is or not. As far as I’m concerned, he is… At least in Pokémon Pearl/Diamond. Not sure if they appear randomly in other games. Gotta catch em all! I’m going to need to revisit this piece.
